Callie Thornton

Callie graduated from Glasgow in June 2011 and initially went to work in Kidderminster, after 16 months in mixed practice she decided that small animal medicine was where her interests were focused and came to work for Rhyd Broughton as a small animal vet in October 2012.

She is very keen on surgery and cardiology but knows that care starts in the consult room and very much enjoys communicating with the clients and interacting with her patients!

After the birth of her daughter in January 2015 Callie is now working part-time at the vets and part-time running around after a busy one-year-old!

In her spare time, she enjoys Canicross with her 5-year-old springer Bella and her husband Lee. Together they helped to start up a local club - Canicross Clwyd - and the whole family (including the toddler!) go with the club to events all over the country.
