Hannah Smallwood

Hannah joined the Rhyd Broughton family in 2009 as an auxiliary nurse and became a registered veterinary nurse in 2011. Since then, she has progressed to being the head nurse to our dedicated nursing team and clinical coach to our student veterinary nurses. 

She loves all aspects of nursing, specifically theatre, radiography and general nursing. She is currently studying a small animal behaviour certificate and conducts behaviour clinics here at Rhyd Broughton. She has a keen interest in physiotherapy which she aims to pursue in the future. 

She has a cat called Lloyd whom she rescued through Rhyd Broughton at 3 days old and he keeps her on her toes with is ongoing shenanigans. In her spare time Hannah can be found doing photography, baking and looking after nieces (not necessarily in favourite order.)
